The "Ikigai of India": Finding Purpose Through Purusharthas

IKGAI OF INDIA i.e Bharath
India's wisdom offers a unique path to Ikigai, out reason for being. Imagine out life guided by four pillars:
• Dharma: Upholding moral and ethical principles. This isn't religion, but the foundation that sustains the world around us. Imagine taking care of the environment as much as our workplace.
• Artha: Fulfilling out material needs – our job, our home. But remember, Artha thrives within the boundaries of Dharma. Don't have to compromise our values for wealth.
• Kama: Embrace our desires, our passions – be it art, music, or simply a delicious meal. But ensure these desires align with Dharma. Pursue them ethically.
• Self-actualisation/Moksha: This isn't just about spiritual liberation, but about reaching our full potential. Maslow's hierarchy finds a home here. Once basic needs are met, explore the deeper meaning of life through self-discovery or helping others.
By integrating these Purusharthas, we discover our unique Ikigai – the sweet spot where our purpose meets our passions, all while contributing to the world around us. It's a life of meaning, fulfillment, and true joy.
