The first part, p.1-660, contains only works by Ambroise Par©♭, preceded by an engraved portrait of the latter; the writings of the other authors (p. 661-1164) have both individual title-pages and are preceded by a collective title-page: De chirurgia scriptores optimi quique veteres et recentiores, plerique ante hac non editi, postea vero Ticuri per Conradum Gesnerum in unum volumen collecti, tandemque per Petrum Uffenbachium revisi & operibus chirurgicis Ambrosii Paraei adiuncti.
