Marino Pacileo is a cashier in a prison in Milan and goes by the nickname "Gorbaciof" because of a birthmark on his forehead. Marino's life consists of work, gambling and his love for Lila, a beautiful illegal Chinese immigrant with whose father Marino plays poker with. Will Marino's habit of borrowing from the prison safe to feed his gambling addiction and his love for Lila become dangerous?
