First printing of the first German edition of this pamphlet in which Luther deals with the Christian Mass and sets forth the form of Sunday worship and eucharistic observance.
Signatures: A-C⁴ D⁶ (A1b and D6b blank)
At end: "Der Psalmus Deus misereatur nostri" translated into rhymed German by Luther as: "Es wollt vns Gott genedig seyn" (p. D6a) and "Psalmus Laudate Dominu[m] omnes gentes" translated into rhymed German by J. Agricola as: "Frolich wollen wir Alleluia singen."
Title within engraved, historiated, architectural, woodcut border (putti and animals); initials throughout.
