Things That Never Happened' is a photo book about collective memories of childhood pastimes during summer; moments filled with freedom and play. Preben Holst has photographed the children of friends, acquaintances and strangers in some instances repeatedly over several years as they explore their local forests, free from adult interventions and expectations.
