Descriptive text on Keyser's buildings and decoration by Salomon de Bray. Several plates in "By-voeghel, ofte, tweede deel" p. 23, feature work by Hans Steenwinckel, Jacob and Cornelis van Campen, and Thomas Keyser.
Preliminaries include dedication, biographical information, laudatory verses, and an outline of the vol.
Leaves of plates I and XI (folded) have extensions to accommodate towers; 2 leaves of plates bear the numbering XXVIII while XXVII is omitted in the numbering; XXXIII, 41 x 18 cm., is folded at the top; folded leaf of plates XXXVII has at its building's roof-line an 8 x 5.5 cm. (impression) of a dormer/balcony pasted on; final leaf of plates is unnumbered but may be the missing XLII. Woodcut initials and end pieces.
Includes bibliographical references.
