Dark brown leather over pasteboard with flap cover, slightly smaller than the textblock, is wrapped around, but not bound to the textblock; elaborate blind tooled covers with central oval shape with radiant lines surrounded by a diaper grid inside a frame with vine-decorated corners with another, narrow, foliate frame; matching pattern on flap; yellow paper pastedowns; spine reinforced with red leather.
