The work incorporates and examines the ceramic societies of in Sicuani, constituting an update of the scientific knowledge about the first documented human occupations between 600 and 250 years a.C. at the Chumo site in Sicuani, who depended on the use of pottery and agriculture for their survival. "The primary data included in this book is theoutcome of the arduous and exhaustive scientific work carried out by the authors in the field and laboratory, and were part of the requirements to obtain the professional degree of archeologist approved at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad of Cuzco."
