The book takes a tour into the artistic trajectory of Ethel Gilmour (b. Cleveland, USA, 1940, lived and worked in Medellín, Colombia since 1971 - d. 2008), "from her early years in the United States with a work influenced by abstract expressionism, through the early works of a figuration in Colombia, to the consolidation of her original and personal style.
