This work is the result of the joint effort of academics from the Faculty of Higher Studies of Aragon at UNAM, and researchers from INAH, who began this inter-institutional and multidisciplinary project on October 18, 2007, when a collaboration agreement was signed between both institutions. in the Siqueiros Hall of the National History Museum, Chapultepec Castle. Drawings, photographs and plans that archaeologists and physical anthropologists created from their excavations were transformed into reconstructive models through specific computer programs work that was carried out by the FES Aragón in order to recreate part of the greatness of Teotihuacán through three-dimensional reconstructions, still images and moving models. Architectural structures, human burials and ceramic objects, cultural manifestations of those who inhabited the city of Teotihuacán and its valley in pre-Hispanic times, were virtually recreated to support research, teaching and dissemination. Thus, the national and foreign public will be able to better appreciate the city in its moment of splendor, since "an image says more than ten thousand words". It also highlights a part of the roots that have shaped our national identity, fundamental work of INAH and UNAM, research and teaching institutions.
