Edition Notes

Volume 1 published in 1657 or 1658? at Saragozza; the present volume 2, as part of an edition of Saint Teresa's works, at Brussels, in 1674; no new edition was brought out between 1674 and 1771. The first editor, Archbishop Palafox, having died in 1659, Pedro de la Anunciación took over the editing of the letters forming volume 2. [NUC note].

Separate, sectional title-page on unnumbered page [275], reading: 'Cartas de la Gloriosa Madre Santa Teresa de Jesus ... '.

Contains, on final 18 pages: 'Indice de las Cartas, Indice de las Cosas Notables', Catalogo de los principales Confessores de nuestra Santa, ademas de los de su Religion'.
