Devices on t.p., identical in all volumes: coat of arms in a crown of roses (?); above it, in a small square, Sts. Peter and Paul holding cloth with Holy Face (device of Simon Vincent); a much larger and more complex version of the latter, with motto "Salve sancta facies" and name Symon Vincentius, on verso of last leaf of v. [5].
The volumes are not numbered; their order is stated on t.p. of v. 1: Habes lector amice co[m]mentaria Joannis de Turre Cremata super toto Decreto; que in quinq[ue] diuisimus volumina: Distinctio[n]es vno co[m]plexi volumine, Causas duobus, tractatu[m] de Penite[n]tia vno, et alio de Consecratione; addito Repertorio, quod sextum faciet.
Vol. [2] has title: Joan. de turre cre. sup[er] primo volu. Causaru[m]; v. [3]: Joan. de turre cre. sup[er] secu[n]do volu. Causaru[m]; v. [4]: Joan. de turre cre. sup[er] tracta. de penitentia; v. [5]: Joan. de turre cre. sup[er] tracta. de co[n]secratione.
The title Joan. de turre cremata sup[er] ... is always at top of the t.p., out of the decorative frame that includes the prolix alternate title "Co[m]mentaria reuerendi in Christo patris ..."; in this alternate title, the specific content of the particular volume appears in 7th-8th line, following "acutissimi": (v. 2:) ... super primo volumine Causar[um]; (v. 3:) ... super secundo volumine Causarum; (v. 4:) ... super tractatu de Penitentia; (v. 5:) ... super tractatu de Consecratione.
Vol. [6] has title: Repertoriu[m] Jo. de turre cre. sup[er] toto decreto : Repertoriu[m] aureum [et] singulare super co[m]mentarijs in totum Decretu[m] reuere][n]di ... Joa[n]nis de turre cremata ... omnes materias ... s[ecundu]m ordine[m] alphabeti fabrefactum.
Imprint from colophons. Volumes [5] and [6] are dated 1520(in Latin words; v. [5] in January and v. [6] in February, both "a Romano calculo").
