"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، والحمد لله رب العالمين، وأفضل الصلاة وأتم التَّسليم على نبينا محمَّد وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين، ومن تبعهم بإحسانٍ إلى يوم الدين؛ أمَّا بعد: هذه سيرتي الذاتية وحياتي الشخصية. قرَّرتُ أن أضعَهما في هذا الكتاب، مع العلم أنَّني لستُ مختصًّا في مجال التأليف أو الكتابة الأدبية أو القَصصيَّة. لكنَّني أظنُّ - والله أعلم - أنَّ تَجْرُبتي وما مررتُ به وفعلتُه في حياتي، وخاصَّة عملي في شعبة الأمن العسكري السوريَّة/جهاز المخابرات، على مدى عشرين عامًا تقريبًا، فيها من الغرابة والتفرُّد والخطَر والإثارة والمنفعة ما يهمّ القارئَ، ويشدُّه ويقدح فضولَه للمتابعة، مع التأكيد على من سيقرأ أنَّ جميعَ الأَحْداث والشخصيَّات والأماكن التي سيجري ذكرُها هي حقيقيَّة ومن الواقع الذي قمتُ بسرده كما هو؛ مع مراعاة تحريف بعض الأسماء فقط حفاظًا على خصوصيَّة أصحابها وسلامتهم. وإنَّ أيَّ تفصيل أو حدث وارد في هذه السيرة أستطيع - بإذن الله - إثباتَ صحَّته ودقَّته بشهادة الشُّهود الذين عاصروا أو شاركوا أو شاهدوا هذه الأمور، وأغلبُهم ما زالوا - حتَّى تاريخ كتابة هذه السطور - على قيد الحياة. وقد كنتُ أملك أيضًا وثائقَ رسميةً بمختلف الأنواع، ومن مختلف المصادر، تؤكِّد جميعَ ما كتبتُه من معلومات، وكنت أجمعُها سابقًا وأحتفظ بها طوالَ حياتي في منزلي. ولكن - للأسف - جرى حرقُ جميع الوثائق وتدميرها مع منزلي الذي قام النظامُ السوري بنَهبه وقصفه وحرقه في الشهر الثالث من عام 2012، بعدَ قيام الثورة السورية بعامٍ واحد، ولله الحمد والشكر على كلِّ حال. وأرجو من الله - عزَّ وجلَّ - أن يعينني وأن يوفِّقني بكرمه على أن يكونَ عملي هذا نافعًا، وأن أحوزَ به رضا ربِّي. In the name of Allah, The All-Merciful, The Ever-Merciful, and Praise be to Allah, Lord of universe, May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon the most honored of messengers our master Muhammad and upon all his family, companion and followers. Then: This my curriculum vitae and my personal life. I decided to put them in this book, although, I'm not expert in the field of authorship, literature or writing. but I think and - Allah knows best - that my experience and what I have been through and had done in my life, especially my work in Syrian military intelligence department\intelligence service, for almost twenty years, contain enough weirdness, uniqueness, danger, excitement and benefit for the reader, and attracts him to follow up, with emphasis for who is going to read, all those events, personalities, and places to be mentioned are true and from the reality as I explained it, with respect to misrepresentation of some names just to preserve the privacy of those people and their safety. Any event or detail mentioned in this biography, I can - god willing - prove the its authenticity and accuracy and by witness testimony from people who have lived and participated and witnessed these events, and most of them are still alive as of the date of this writing. I also had various official documents, from various sources, confirming all information I had written. I used to collect and keep them lifelong at my home. Unfortunately, all these documents were burned and destroyed with my house, which was looted and bombed and burned by the Syrian regime in the 3rd month of 2012, one year after the Syrian revolution. I ask god to help me and guide me with his generosity for my work to be useful, and to have his satisfaction."
