Drama in verse.
"El Tejido de Asterión ..." es una muy libre interpretación de la historia del Minotauro. Cada uno de los fragmentos es hablado, narrado (o cantado) por un personaje, el narrador o el coro"--P. 7.
Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
Text and decorative borders reproduced on leaves of coarse brown paper; preliminaries, colophon, and folded illustration on grained sand-colored paper with hand-lettered titles; black and purple tissue-paper endpapers; all stapled and glued to brown paper wrappers. Wrappers are mounted with decorated cutouts of pink (in another copy, purple) and white bond and of grained papers, all with torn edges. Collage, depicting a bull and a woman, wraps around fold of front wrapper. Hand-lettered title on folded banner (5 x 24 cm. unfolded) is glued to a moveable paper sword inserted behind mounted illustration of the minotaur on front. The sword handle is wrapped with twine that is tied at the other end to the Vigía lantern on back wrapper. The sword is inserted behind a loose element of the front wrapper collage.
