Nasheed: My Lord Asks Me
إذا ما قال لي ربي اما استحييت تعصيني
Glory be to Ya Thal Jali Wal Ikram who is shy to deny the request of His slaves.
The Prophet, salla allahu alayhi wasatul wasalam immeasurably the number of His creation, His pleasure, weight of His throne, ink of His words and vast speech on behalf all haneef of all time said,
“Verily, Allah is conscientious and generous. He would be shy, when a man raises his hands to Him, to turn them away empty and disappointed.”
(Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3556
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani)
"Allah said english meaning: 'When a slave of Mine draws near to Me a span, I draw near to him a cubit; and if he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.'" [Al-Bukhari]
وتخفي الذنب عن خلقي وبالعصيان تأتيني
Allah hears the praise of those who praise Him, Glory be to You, alone. My Rabbi, My cherisher, King of Kings and Lord of all the Worlds;
Al Asma Ul Husna belong to Him
Ya Dhal Jali Wal Ikram,
Al Malik Ul Mulk
Al Ali, Al Majeed, Al Wahid, Al Mutaqabbir, Al Wudud, As Sami, Al Aleem, Al Musawwir, Al Jabbar,
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You.
There is no compulsion in religion; the truth has been made distinct from falsehood. Whoever rejects Tāghoot [false gods] and believes in Allah, has indeed grasped the strong handhold that never breaks. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
