Edition Notes
The epistles are numbered 3-20. Considered as nos. 1-2 were the author's letters written in criticism of G. B. Bianchi's Historia hepatica, which were published in Leyden in 1728 and republished by the Remondini press in 1762 under title: Epistolae anatomicae duae.
Originally printed as an appendix to the author's edition of the Opera of A. M. Valsalva, which was published in Venice in 1740.
