Traditionally, but incorrectly, ascribed to Dominicus Capranica; also sometimes to Matthaeus de Cracovia or Albertus Magnus.
"The wording of the title and of the final clause of the text, as well as the substitution of 'seculi' for the usual 'exilii' as the fourth word of text, connect this edition with that of Maler, Ratdolt, and Löslein, Venice, 1478 (IA.20491). The body of the text, however, follows another version"--BM 15th cent.
Imprint from BM 15th cent., which gives grounds for rejecting earlier dating.
Signatures: A⁸ B⁴ C⁸.
LC copy unrubricated and with capital spaces blank. Contemporary tawed pigskin binding, with blind-stamped border, framing panel of Fran. Godef. Troilo, S.C.M. consiliarius; t.p. inscribed Romualdus Falkenbergk anno Dni. 154[?] ; stamp of Bundesdenkmalamt inside upper cover.
