Free retelling of the events rather than an official journal of proceedings; in the opinion of its 19th-century editor, A.H. Taillandier, the unidentified author was a member of the parliament sympathetic to the Fronde.
Complete text of the ms. was printed in 1862 together with the Mémoires du marquis de Beauvais-Nangis (LC record 05-5669).
Former owners: Jacques Antoine Dulaure (d. 1835); Alphonse Honoré Taillandier (d. 1867). Bookplate of Château de Sassy. Accessioned in LC in 1938 (LL 537673).
Written all (except the caption) in one very neat italic hand, presumably in France.
Penciled on laid-in paper slip: MS 7.
