1st work includes a selection of chronicles drawn from the author's daily column originally published in the Argentine newspaper El Mundo between July 25, 1928 and Aug. 15, 1930 and originally published by Editora Victoria in 1933; 2nd work includes a selection of chronicles originally written by the author while working for El Mundo as a correspondent in Rio de Janeiro between Mar./Dec. 1930 which were collected in the Hemeroteca da Biblioteca Nacional Argentina by the editor who has entitled them "Águas-fortes cariocas".
