La Cultura Masma / The Masma Culture is a bilingual edition published by eminent scholar of ancient, elucidates a particular art and language form which appears worldwide whose origins are in the megalithic cultures which were present around the world. This book emphasizes and illustrates the particularities of a megalithic ceremonial complex on the Marcahuasi plateau outside of Lima, Peru. The local indigenous people refer to the long-gone originators and sculptors of this vast ceremonial complex as "the Masma people" or "los Masmas," thus the title. This is a fascinating book that is well-illustrated, in black-and-white, from the 1950's.
