Oscar Ivanissevich

Oscar Ivanissevich y Defilippis.

Médico cirujano y político argentino.

Nació en Buenos Aires (Argentina) el 5/VIII/1895 y falleció el 6/VI/1976.

Fue profesor de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) y Universidad Autónoma de México; Presidente de la Academia Argentina de Cirugía; embajador de Argentina ante Estados Unidos de América -EUA- (1946-48); Ministro de Educación de la Nación (1948-50 y 1974-75).

Publicó “Hidatidosis ósea” y “Tratamiento de los quistes hidatídicos del pulmón”.
