Edition Notes
G.C. Knapp, a Halle professor, issued his first edition of the Greek Testament at the Orphan House, Halle, in 1797. In general he followed Griesbach; but in a certain number of passages he restored the Elzevir reading, and also inserted within brackets-- of two forms, indicating (1) suspected, (2) spurious-- all words and clauses omitted by Griesbach. A second edition, slightly revised, appeared at Halle in 1813, and a third in 1824. This London edition differs from the third Halle edition only in typography.
Darlowe & Moule, 4803
Reuss, ch. XVIII, 4 (more correctly the 3rd. ed.)
B.F.B.S., 4803
N.T. in Greek; pref. in Latin.
