The Otherwise Award, formerly known as the James Tiptree Jr. Award, has been awarded every year since 1991 to works of science fiction or fantasy that expand or explore one's understanding of gender. This list collects the award winners, retroactive honorees, and collections or anthologies of Otherwise (Tiptree) works.

Since 1988, the Lambda Literary Awards, also called the "Lammys", have been awarded "to celebrate LGBT literature and provide resources for writers, readers, booksellers, publishers, and librarians---the whole literary community." There are currently twenty-two categories, with one winner in each and a number of finalists.
