With collective half-title and t.p. (in red and black, dated 1720), without watermark.

Pts. i-iii (dated 1691-92) and all 454 plates are reprints of 1st ed. on folio paper, with different foolscap watermark. Pt. iv, 'Almagestum' (text) and 'Amaltheum' (text) are reissues, former on 4to paper without watermark, latter on folio paper with original watermark. 'Mantissa' (text) is reprinted on 4to paper without watermark. Pt. iii has at end p.1, 'Abbreviata hortorum, etc.' and p. 2-4, 'Index totius Phytographiae'. 'Almagestum' (bound in vol. iv) has own t.p. and additional t.p. to 'Phytographiae pars quarta', both dated 1696 and without vignette. 'Mantissa' (in vol. ii) has t.p. in red and black, dated 1700, without vignette and prelims. include letter from Peuzaeus and poem by Robert Plukenet. At end of preface 'Monitio' about absent plates (published 1705) retained, though all are in fact present. Plates 251-350 are bound in vol. ii; only 329-50 belong to 'Mantissa', the remainder to pt. iv. 'Amaltheum' (in vol. iii) has original t.p. in red and black, dated 1705, with van der Gucht vignette.
