"Pharmacopoeia Mediana celeberrimi auctoris monitis et praeceptis medicis adaptata", pt. 2, p. [8], 37, [3], 3rd through 5th counts, has separately dated title page with imprint: Francof. et Lipsiae. In officina Fleischeriana. M DCC LXII. This work is excerpted and printed in English under thte title: Pharmacopoeia Meadiana faithfully gathered from original prescriptions, containing the most elegant methods of cure in diseases, and printed in London in 1756 and was the work of Richard Mead.

The first part includes references to guaiac, aloe, and other plant based medicines from the New World.
