Some of the wood engravings have engravers' signatures, including: C. Denisard, N. Deschamps, E. Forest, Halle v Hiback, Lacoste, Louis Lesestre, Sotaim.
Publisher's binding in light blue paper over pasteboard. Page edges gilt. The "douze gravures" mentioned in the title apparently include that on the front cover by V. Beaucé, in addition to 11 in the text (with guard tissues).
