Anno salutis 1477.

Signatures: 1-9℗£́ʻ 10́ı 11-16℗£́ʻ 17-18́ı 19́œ.

Chancery folio; 38 lines per page ; initial spaces, some with guide letters.

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in ca.18th-century sheepskin rebacked in brown goatskin. Spine ruled in blind with red leather label. Bookplate of the BPL Thomas Prince Library. Inscription on [1́] recto: "No. 28. 3.2.4." On [1́] verso: biographical inscription about Pius II and chart of medieval date transcriptions in the hand of Thomas Prince, with bookplate of the Old South Church Library, and a ca. 19th-century slip with a bibliographic inscription laid-on. Large initials on [1́], [11́˜], and [17́] in interlocking red and blue with red penwork along the margins. Three-line initials rubricated in alternating red and blue. Chapter headings and capital strokes rubricated in red. Leaf dimensions: 276 x 194 mm. Deposited ca. 1866.
