Sex and Shadows is a discursive piece on the poetry of Mary Walker Graham and Stacy Blair. The Graham poems were originally published in Ocho #11 in 2007, for which Adam Fieled was guest editor; and Sex and Shadows itself, in first draft form, was part of the summer 2009 "post-avant" series on the Stoning the Devil blog. The Blair poems originally appeared in P.F.S. Post in 2016-2017; and the Blair portion of Sex and Shadows was added in 2017.
