Attributed to André Morellet by Barbier.

The name of the translator supplied by the online catalogue of the Bibliotheque nationale de France.

Translation and abridgment, by André Morellet, of Directorium inquisitorum, composed in the mid 14th century and first printed in Barcelona, 1503.

"Histoire de l'établissment de l'Inquisition dans le royaume de Portugal, tirée de l'ouvrage de Louis à Paramo, inquisiteur dand le royaume de Sicile, intitulée: De origine & progressu Officii Santacta Inquisitionis. Martriti, ex Typographiä Regiä, 1589", p. [169]-196, has separate caption title, and is a translation of: De origine et progressu Officii Sanctae Inquisitionis, eiussque dignitate & utilitate, de Romani Pontificis potestate & delegata Inquisitorum, edicto fidei, & ordine iudiciario Sancti Officij, quaestiones decem, libri tres, first printed Madrid, 1598.

Signatures: A-H¹² (A1, A2 versos blank) I⁴ (-I4)
