Statement of responsibility from etched frontispiece by Giuseppe Zocchi.
Dedication in v. 1 dated Ides of March, 1751.
The 200 etched plates in v. 1 are partly signed by Ioannes Franceschini (some repeated in v. 3). Etched head- and tail-pieces signed J. Verkruys, as is one of 7 folded plates in v. 3. Occasional in-text woodcuts.
Bound in vellum in two vols. (v. 1, 2-3). Spines gilt tooled, including author, title and vol. no. on panels. Edges red. Green ribbon place markers.
