Boston Public Library (Allen A. Brown Collection) copy half-bound in black/red marbled papers and black leather over boards. Spine includes binder's spine title and "Boston Public Library" in gilt. Front pastedown includes donors' ex libris (bookplate) identifying copy as a gift of Joshua Bates. Verso of title page includes annotation in pencil script identifying date of receipt as September 15, 1859. Printed on antique laid papers featuring horizontal chainlines, vertical wire lines, and watermark visible at spine-edge of page, near tail-end. Title page includes embossed stamp of the Boston Public Library. Rear pastedown includes ink stamp of the Boston Public Library [Bindery], dated "OCT 27 1910".
