Excerpts

COMATOSE

The inhabitants of Tundra
are structurally sound
In fact they pass
godless into window displays

How is your fear of mirrors
baby
Has it brought you nearer
to self abuse

I am always pleased
by your gracious excess

(here . take this too)

At times the folds
of your skin
shimmer like oil slicks.
Page 4, added by Henry Kanabus.

My son, Daniel, made a grunge song for his band - 'Yes Rachel' - using this poem. My younger son, David, plays percussion, and does a very cool drum solo on this number.
