PREFACE
The parent has good role to play in the life of their children. The parent is the first step that student/children we learning after that schools. But when he/she didn’t discipline from home when he/she going out. He/she will join bad groups.
The secret cult is not only in high institutions, it also reach to post-primary and secondary school.
The people that organized [P.C], they did not organize it to kill or to committee suicide/murder, but they organized it to have what we call Love or Harmony between them-self. But later they change it to another way.
My advice is for the parents to take care of their children. If they are going schools they needs to visit them in schools, when they do that the students will not join secret cult. Thank.

INTRODUCTION
The cultism is well defined as the person understanding it. The cultism is very dangerous in doing. From what we had hear from so many people. From so many high institutions are been adapt the cultism in Nigeria from investigations from so many professors, schools and brilliant people they let us understand what cultism is all about.
THE MEANING OF CULTISM
CULTISM: - can be defined as a dangerous secret that people doing in secret place and secret way.
The cultism can be defined as a way of people has groups or gang that they do in secret way in other to do it in secret for people. When we are talking of secret we are talking of has an oath in one way and others. There are so many people who has going through the cultism and they has seen the repercussion of it.
The cultism is not have the good end, there’s so many problem’s that they face when they are live their
The cultism is also taking place in post-primary schools and secondary schools and the students are joining so many gangs in schools. E.g. the students we kill his teacher when his teacher bitted him and the violence we coming out and there will be a lot of problems.
THE PROBLEMS OF CULTISM IN NIGERIAN SCHOOL
They’re a lot of problems that cultism face in Nigerian schools. From high institutions will have going to see the problems of cultism. In our school today. There a lot of killing the students and teachers in various institutions in our schools.
When we look at the 1950’s we are seen that the cultism was organized. The people who organized it are not doing it in the way they do it today. Later it now developed from there, because in our school the secret cult were developed and the students were killed.
The one problem is that the murders were common among these cult and they were no look back for anybody.
Any students who does not be-careful in the right way, they we killed him/her.
All these problems as coming out from the secret cult and they did not bother of killing any body and lecturers’ also.
Killing: - the problems of killing the students and the lecturers, because they did not becarefull of do it.
Murders: - the problems of murders in the campus. All this needs to be eradicate.
Violent: - this one is another problem in the campus, fighting each other in the campuses.
Drug Abuse: - The problems of drunk in the campuses are still part of it.
CHAPTER TWO
THE ORIGIN OF CULTISM
The way the cultism was organized in Nigeria is through some people and some leuterian in literature. The secret cult was also common among Yoruba, the secret cult was common.
The Yoruba call it so many name e.g. Imule, Arelu, and Ogboni. This “Ogboni” was common among Yoruba. They were do it in secret way and in secret place all these were common, because when they are doing it, anybody we not coming out, if they seen anybody, he/she will be in punished and they do the rituals that they support to do for him/her. They we do it with no body except their own groups.
It also common among the “Igbo people”, they also call it so many names within their own language, even the “Hausa people” also has their own secret cult it also base on their own language.
Through the entire secret, it is now going to school. The schools were now acquiring it. Even in post primary schools and secondary schools in Nigerian are involved in it, and the secret cult was developed in so many schools in Nigeria today.
There’s not any school that does not has or involved in secret cult, even in high institution. But it common in tertiary institution in Nigeria.
THE ORIGIN OF CULTISM IN NIGERIA SCHOOLS
In 1950’s to this time we are seen/heard that cultism was started with some people and the aims of these people are difference with how they are doing it today.
In 1950’s when professor wole Soyinka was in university of Ibadan, they was Organized an Association, they call it [PYRATES CONFRATERNITY] PC, They were use it to secure / take care of themselves, the P.C was means “Sea Dogs”. The Wole Soyinka group was organized in other to ask or request for their needs or for their own right. They now developed from there. In 1953’s up, the people were joining them and they developed through the strange thing that they were doing.
From 1975, the Association was no longer alone in uni-ibadan. It was spread in all Nigeria tertiary institutions, they was organized it in other to request for their own right in the school as a students. They also have some weapon that they are using but not for killing each other, but to use it for play and to let their mates join them. That is what they are for.
But in 1996, after this people like wole Soyinka has left the campuses, many cults was organized and the [P.C] “Pyrites’ Confraternity or Sea Dogs” was change to another thing. They were change to secret cult. They no longer call it P.C or “SEA DOGS” they call it so many names e.g. Black Axe, Pirates’ Buccaneers. With their symbols and the sign that they use to recognize each other.
From 1996, they were killing of students in university of Ibadan and some students were killing in Polytechnic of Ibadan. They were killed people that want to do well.
But when they graduate the people continue to change the role and create other Names for it. They were three groups, these three secret cults they were in campuses. I will discuss about it later.
The roles of secret cults were many. The secret cult cannot have good things in mind except bad thing. The role of them is to kill the person who takes their wife or girlfriends and so many other bad things.
They also have in mind to bring violence in campuses by killing the students, teachers, they also drink some bad drugs, and fornication e.t.c. from their dressing, we will know them.
Finally, the role of secret cult is to do bad thing and to bring violence within the campuses.
THE SYMBOLS OF EACH SECRET CULT
The secret cult also has some symbols and logo that we can use to recognized them-self.
When we are talking of symbols, symbols can be seen as a way of recognized or know, as logo of some party. But symbols that we are trying to saying are symbols of secret cult. They were using it to recognize each other.
The Pyrites’ confraternity in their own language they we said “ORDER FOR ORDERS” they also has some symbols. E.g. part of head, two femurs:
Figure 1: PYRATES SYMBOLS.
Order for orders
The Buccaneers they also has some language e.g. “No price No pay”. This means daggers. Their symbol is a big head one femurs bone, with two swords that link with blood. In other to show that it dangerous to offence them, because they we not accept it.
Figure2:
BUCCANEERS SYMBOLS
No price No pay
The Black Axe symbol, their symbols is to fight and to find a way of danger and violence in the campuses. Their own language is “NO FRIEND NO FOE”. They also have one black Axe as a symbol.
Figure3: BLACK AXE SYMBOL
NO FRIEND NO FOE
All these symbols were secret cult in campuses, and they are using it to bring violence within the school campuses. Thing and there’s not any enjoyment on it. They will just face problems and the repercussion will be very dangerous for them.
CHAPTER THREE
FROM WERE THE SECRET CULT STARTED?
The secret cult was started from home to post-primary to secondary, from there to tertiary institutions. But the main purposed is from home.
In looking at it from beginning, we are going to see that the background of children were poor. Some home was not catering for their children. They we just live them without teach them the word of God.
As a good parents, when you are a Christian let them know the way Jesus teach us, even if you are a Muslim let them also know about the way of Allah.
On the relevance of the Bible on exemplary or Model behavior:
“Study to show thyself approved on to God workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly driving the word of truth II Tim 2:15”.
The Qur’an also says that:
“As regard my servant, thou hast no authority over them such of the deviators as follow” the [chp. 15:42].
As parents you need to teach your children the word of God at any time. Even if they going out from home they we remember the scripture that they have heard from you as a father and mother.
For examples, as a parents who does not cater of teach the children the scripture who also been in one secret cult in society. Source children we have problems when he/she going to school. Because he/she we familiar with does bad gang through that he will join secret cult...
WHAT WAY WE CAN REMOVE OR GETTING OUT OF IT?
Some students they were afraid that when they said they we getting out of it, it we bring problems for them. That one is a wrong word and it did not make a sense.
They will talk about the Oath, they we said they have oath or covenant through blood for blood with each other. They we be afraid of these they we not want to remove from it.
The Bible said in Leviticus 5:4-5:
“If a person thoughtlessly taken an Oath to do a thing, whether good or evil in any matter one might carelessly swear about- even though he is unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty: when any one is guilty in any one of these ways, he must confess in what he has sinned”.
The Qur’an 12:92 also said:
“Allah will not call you to account for what is vain in your Oaths, but He will call you to account for what your hearts have earned. Allah is forgiving, for bearing”.
In as much as the Bible has said these and Qur’an also said it will did not need to fear of remove of getting out of it.
The Bible said in Timothy 1:7:
“God has not given us the spirit of fear but of boldness and sound mind”.
From what Bible has said we don’t need to fear of remove from it. Because He have given us word of God. The parents also need to live from secret cult in society. Because the students we think may be is good.
The Lord has given them on to you in other to teach them the word of Him.
The Bible said in II Tim 3:16-17:
“All scripture is give by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete thoroughly finished into all good works”.
Finally in the Qur’an 11 verse 185 said:
“When my servant ask the concerning Me, I am indeed close to them. I listen to the prayer of every supplicant when He called on me, with a will, listen to my call and believe in me that they walk in the right way”.
“Brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable. If anything is excellent or praise worthy think of such thing” Philippians 4:8.
CONCLUSION
In random from of all what I have said from this chapter we are going to known that we can find solution to the problems of cultism in Nigerian. Through teaching them from beginning of their O level, that children will good and developed in all what they were doing. When they reach high institution they we not going in to cultism.
Finally, from Qur’an and Bible they have said a lot and Oath does not mean that you cannot remove from it; you can remove from any bad groups and any bad gangs.
CHAPTER FOUR
THE ROLE OF PARENTS
Parent can be defined as a person who God give power to direct their children in right way. Before anybody who teaches the child, the parents should first teach him/her, any children that disobedient to their Elder, it does not have home training.
Some parents were know cotter to take care of their children, because from what we are heard and seen, some parents were going to tertiary institutions they will involved in secret cult. Their background was poor from home.
The role of parents is to take good care of students when they are in school and at house in other to do the right thing in other. They should try to let them followed good way. Because when they were in home they need to teach them in the way Allah and Jesus Christ told them to do.
The parents are the first step that the children need to acquire learning after that from school. When the parent teach the student good way, when they reach school they we behaved well.
They we not join bad gang. The parents has good role to participate in the life of children- the Qur’an talk about it. Even the Bible also talks about it. The parent need to teach the children in right way even when they going out, they we behaved well. They need to lead them in right way. By teach them as God commanded them to do.
THE ROLE OF TEACHER
The teachers are the educator or second learning that teaches the children to grown well.
The teachers also have the role to play in the life of students, they needs to lead them in good way. They should also organized some a day in other to lecture them and to teach them about the cultism. To let them known meaning of cultism. And how they are doing it. And way of get out of it.
The teachers also need to dress in propared way, because some students we want to dress like that, the way we are going to talk or behaved to them has to bring a good example to them.
THE ROLE OF SCHOOL AUTHORITY
The school authority should need to organized some programmed in other to counseling the students on issue of secret cult, when the school authority organized on this programmed, we were going to see the distance between the school who doesn’t organized and the one who organized it.
When the students has no more about the secret cult from post-primary schools, when they going to university or high institution, they we behaved ell and their we not be any problems in their life. Students needs to be orientate in this gang, because when they have reach school is another society and the parents didn’t known what is going on with their children but when the school authority has organized some counselor, or when they we no the dangerous that is in it.
CHAPTER FIVE
SUMMARY
From what all I have said from chapter one to five chapters. We are going to see that the secret cult are face so many problem in school and in society, because in society they look at them as person that not has home training, and when things in society. They we not accept that fellow, e.g. policy, and some other important thing in society. Because they we think that he/she cannot do it in good way.
It also coming out when the students were not has normal learning about the secret cult. Even the Qur’an and Bible also said bad gang or group is not good, the Qur’an and Bible also further said that any good is not there.
The parents, teachers and school authority also have so many roles to play in the life of those students. Like I have said they need to organize some counseling to let them know. What is secret cult? Their dangerous of it?
CONCLUSION
Finally, I will like to random it up, be advice the students to getting out of it, because when they are in it, there we be a lot of problems that they will face from it. They we not has rest of mind. A lot of problems will come out of it. They need to come to Christ and Believed in His good work, and to do what God has commanded us to do.
Even the Qur’an also said something about it like Bible have said the Qur’an also continue from it. Because in any bad gang we cannot gain anything from it. Will just be loose and loose. We need to except Jesus Christ as our savior and continue to following him.
Because Bible said in the scripture:
“The son does not come to world to rule the people but to save them from their seen [john]”.
The Qur’an also further said about it:
“Work with Allah and He read to save you [chp 12 verses 580]”.
In any thing that base on Oath, at last there we be sorrowful, there is no joy or happiness on it. It will bring bad joy for you.
My advice is to going out of it. And also to the parents you need to teach your children. They are our leaders tomorrow. When you teach them all these, if they going out to high institutions or when they are in society they will know what to do and what they should not do.
