This satirical drama is attributed to abbate Sertori, though on p. 3 we read "La poesia è del celebre abate Pietro Metastasio in gran parte; la musica è del sig. Niccolò Piccini." The satire was never actually composed or performed; Sertori simply used the two names then most in vogue. Cf. Sonneck.
