This satirical drama is attributed by Schatz to abbate Sertori, though on p. 3, we read "La poesia è del celebre sig. abate Pietro Metastasio in gran parte; la musica è del sig. Niccolò Piccini." The satire was never actually composed or performed; Sertori simply used the two names them most in vogue. Cf. Sonneck.
Error on t.p. corrected in MS.
