This philatelic study also covers the aspects of the postal usage of this commemorative stamp ―the first authorized by the Spanish authorities―, and well as a description of the philatelic counterfeits.
The author of this book is a very well known Puerto Rican philatelist, who is also a prominent archaeologist and respected historian.
