Contains text of Fischer's manuscript which includes reminiscences of life in the house occupied by his family along with various tenants. The composer Ludwig van Beethoven lived in the house at various times as a child, between ca. 1776 and 1786. The last approximately one-third of the book consists of genealogical information about Fischer's family.
