Desert Diamonds is the story of the Namibian diamond fields told in a concise, easily understood manner.

The historical narrative is given life and dimension by over a hundred historic black and white photographs that take the reader into the very lives of the diamond mining pioneers that lived in the now ghost towns of Kolmanskop, Elizabeth Bay and Pomona in what has become the forbidden diamond area or Sperrgebiet of Namibia.
