Colophon states that the manuscript was copied by Aḥmad ibn Qāsim ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥanbalī and was completed on 6 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1185.
Paper: yellowed cream; some of the leaves repaired; some have dark stains at the edges. Text framed by single red line. Text principally in black, with a few rubricated words; few marginal notes in black ink. Calculations in red ink; catchwords on versos, some trimmed off.
