The book is about the history of Sikhs from the first Guru of the Sikhs Guru Nanak Dev Ji to the ninth Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.The book describes how the deciples of Guru Nanak Dev Ji were known as "Sikhs"and they continued to be called Sikhs-the learners. The Tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji christened the new name as "Singh" for them which means a lion.The book tells the history and cultute of the Sikhs.
