This is a critical appraisal of the life and literary contributions of the renowned Urdu poet, story-writer, essayist, critic and biographer, Mehr Lal Soni Zia Fatehabadi. Zarina Sani (1937-1982) taught Urdu and Persian in L.A.D. College, Nagpur. She is also known for her work on Seemab Akbarabadi which effort earned for her a Ph.D.
