An edition of The Hawaiian Island of Kaho'olawe (2009)

The Hawaiian Island of Kaho'olawe

Newly out of college, two, Ohio sisters take a interisland Hawaiian cruise: when a Pacific storm strands their boat, and Maui goes pitch dark, they end up on the doomed island of Kaho'olawe.
The novel is Hawaiian Adventure Romance, in current time: 2009 to 2010.
This novel intertwines as a brother and sister series from Novel three (Moloka'i) and Novel four ( Ni'ihau).

THE Island HISTORY:
The Hawiian Island of Kaho'olawe was used for bombing practice, for fifty years, after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
In the novel, the Malino family of Moloka'i tries to clean-up the damage so the locals can come home.
