Professore Franco Rendich is a scholar of linguistics, the Indo-European languages and a Sanskritist. This work (in Italian) is a full exposition of his theory (with exhaustive examples) on the relations between early fundamental Indo-european (the "Mother Language" of Sanskrit, Greek and Latin) and ( I guess among other things) modern Italian. This is not a dry work (how could it be when Sanskrit itself is likened unto the ocean??)...for Professore Rendich, by going to the roots of words, brings out the brilliant (and not unscientific) cosmic vision of the universe as expressed in the early Vedic hymns (Rg Veda).
