Spine and covers with signature: "AW" [i.e. Albert Henry Warren]. Spine with imprint: "Routledge & Co.". Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. With ownership inscription: "M. G. Leach.". The spine design on this binding, except for lettering, is identical to that blocked in gold on the spine of "Poems by Alfred Tennyson" published in 1859 by Edward Moxon and Co. See McLean O 603.
