520 $aThe seventh juried, international program for contemporary art in Bolivia makes a reading that aims to address the multiple interrelations of local articulations isolated from universal complexity with the purpose of producing interdependencies and visible interferences, which favor the understanding of cultural and artistic processes within a social formation such as the Bolivian one. The SIART is consolidated in the medium as the greatest expression of contemporary visual art. The VII SIART Biennial will be made up of the SIART International Competition, International Exhibitions of Honor and various academic and cultural activities. The Biennial is a space for promotion, dissemination, reflection and integration through contemporary art, which brings Bolivia closer to the contemporary artistic processes that develop in the world, motivates national artistic production and generates dynamics of visual art in its different expressions.
