520 8 $aMusée l'inconnu' is a temporarily established museum at the residence Sint-Maartensdal in Leuven, Belgium. The museum was built by the artist Ief Spincemaille in order to reflect upon the idea of the museum as 'Mouseion', the Greek word that refers to the temple of the Muses, who inspire art and science. In the same line the artist gets his inspiration by the place and the people visiting his self-made museum. The conversations, relations and friendships that were built in the course of the two weeks in which the museum was open, served as material for new work. Reflexions upon his experiences where carefully written down. This publication is a poetic journey throughout the absurdity and the difficulties that occurred, intervening in the community of this residence.
