Garrison sends a message of affection to his brother James Holley Garrison. In the postscript on page four, William L. Garrison reports on Nathaniel P. Rogers's health.
500 $aOn page three of this manuscript there is a separate letter from Jackson James Caleb to George William Benson. Caleb writes: "We have secured the old depository for $550, and shall induct--probably--Isaac T. Hopper as publishing agent." We will start a paper as large as the Emancipator and call it the American or National Anti-Slavery Standard.
