Chili is the favorite hound of Zhao Panba, an old hunter of the Dai nationality. But once on a hunting trip in the mountains when facing the assault of a ferocious wild boar, he failed to come dauntlessly to the rescue of his master. For this reason, the hunter wanted to kill him in his rage, but he was set free by the hunter's grandson. Half a year later, when the hunter was surrounded by a herd of jackals, the loyal hound came timely at this crucial moment to his rescue and saved him in a spirit of self sacrifice, thus redressing the wrongs done him with his own blood.
