Mavra does what no one can, fights off the hoards of searchers trying to destroy anyone who even hears of the well world, and finds the unfindable. But in doing what cannot be done suffers much personal tragedy up to and including being transformed into a wholly foreign form yet does not give up, but still accomplishes her goals. Also she engenders abnormal loyalty in others. Who strive to do the undoable and be the unbeable for her when she needs them.
