Can I save my notes about books with Open Library?
Yes! You can save free-form text notes about any book that you find in Open Library. Your notes are private, and will not be shared with anybody.
Book notes are linked to editions.
How can I create a new note?
You can create a new note by clicking the "Add a book note" link, found in the sidebar of book pages:

Clicking the link opens the book notes modal. To create a note, simply type your note into the text field, then click the "Save Note" button. The modal will then close automatically, and your note will be saved.

How can I edit an existing book note?
Existing notes can be edited via the same modal used to create a note. The modal will contain your book note in the text area. Make any changes that you'd like, and click the "Save Note" button to submit the edit.
You can also delete the note by clicking the "Delete Note" button.

Can I view all of my notes at once?
You can view, edit, and delete all of you book notes from your account page, here.
